Moving Forward

It is bittersweet to have come to the end of this Master of Education journey; but, I know the path does not end here. There are are many possibilities and opportunities that lie ahead and I am eager to explore them.

Facilitate Change

I hope to engage in community planning and inspire loose parts, nature based play spaces within my community; where parents feel a sense of security having a designated space, and children have the freedom to explore and navigate the environment in diverse ways. I hope that this would be a stepping stone for parents and the community to embrace risk in children's lives.

Plant Seeds

Both literally and figuratively. I hope to create a world where future generations of children have both the confidence and the opportunity to climb trees.

Co-create with Future Educators

I intend to continue to share and apply my learning from the MEd program within my role as an instructor, inspiring future educators to think critically, challenge dominant discourse, their own fears and bias, and engage in reflection of how they are showing up for the children in their spaces.

Be Open to Possibilities

I commit to being open minded and open hearted to the opportunities and possibilities that cross my path.

Inspire Others

Above all else, I hope to inspire my colleagues, employees, students, and children to never stop creating, exploring, wondering, taking risks, and discovering new things about our world and themselves.
